Women in Pediatrics Retreat
March 6-9, 2027
Boulders Resort & Spa Scottsdale

A 4-day immersive retreat to transform your life and practice from the inside out

For female pediatricians craving connection, growth, and rejuvenation.

Three women are talking and smiling at each other at an outdoor event. One woman is holding a drink, and they appear engaged in conversation.
Text overlay on black background reading 'Limited availability. Save your spot!' in orange handwritten font.

From the outside, you’re the picture of success:

a rewarding career, busy schedule, and happy family. But on the inside…it’s exhausting.

You’re the one everyone depends on. Between patients and school events, committee meetings and soccer games, you rarely get an hour to yourself.

Tired of running on empty?

Person holding a pink pen and writing in a small lined notebook with a pink cover, sitting at a white surface.

You love your family, but they don't understand the pressure of being a female physician,

a mother, a partner, a leader—all at once. On top of that, there’s the guilt of not living up to your own impossible standards.

You know you need a change, but you’re too busy drowning in the day-to-day to even figure out what that might look like.

Stack of organized notebooks and binders with papers and folders on a wooden desk against a plain beige wall.

Putting everyone else first comes naturally. But what would happen if, just for a few days, you focused on you?

What if 4 days could change everything?

A large group of women standing together outdoors under a white gazebo with columns, dressed in colorful casual and semi-formal clothing, during sunset with palm trees and red-tiled roofs in the background.

Four days without distraction or guilt. Without being pulled into solving other people’s problems. Without team members knocking on the door or kids bursting into your room.

Imagine living a life that feels authentically good to you (not just Instagram-worthy).

You've taken care of everyone else for years. Now it’s time to take care of you

Rediscover the physician you were always meant to be at the Women in Pediatrics Retreat.

The only event for pediatricians focused on you, not just your practice—because when you show up as the best version of yourself, everyone wins.

This isn’t another dry conference

where you leave more exhausted than when you arrived. We balance professional development with plenty of downtime to recharge, small-group activities, and fun events like our Saturday opening reception and Monday farewell party.

Sessions cover everything from practice management to parenting and perimenopause, relationships, leadership, mindset, and finance. You get to choose which sessions to join. You also have full permission to take a break and lounge by the pool whenever you’d like!

This retreat isn’t about checking every box. It’s about getting what you need—whether that’s inspiration, business advice, or simply to lay on a chaise lounge for a few hours with a good book.

“I have never attended a conference like this! I’m leaving with new friends, all powerful and intelligent women. I’m leaving with a better understanding of myself, dreams for the future, and practical tips to help achieve them.”

2027Retreat Schedule

A Few Days Designed Differently

WIP Retreat 2027 gives you structure without making every minute feel scheduled. There is time to learn, time to connect, time to recharge, and plenty of space to make the experience your own.

Arrive + Settle In

Registration opens at 1:00 PM, giving you time to arrive, get settled, and ease into the weekend.

We’ll officially begin at 2:00 PM with opening remarks followed by our first afternoon sessions.

That evening, join us for our Opening Reception. It’s your first chance to meet the women you’ll be spending the next few days with, reconnect with familiar faces, and start the conversations that tend to become one of the best parts of Retreat.

Saturday, March 6

Two women are talking and smiling at each other at an indoor event. One woman has red hair and glasses, and is holding a glass of water. The other woman has long dark hair and is wearing a patterned dress. There are additional people and decorations in the background.

Learn + Connect

Sunday brings a full day of plenary sessions and smaller breakout sessions, giving you the chance to learn together while also choosing conversations that feel most relevant to you.

The evening is completely yours.

Head out for dinner with new friends. Take yourself somewhere wonderful. Have a quiet night and recharge. Or join one of our supporting partners for dinner.

No required event. No expectation to be anywhere. Choose what you need that evening.

Sunday, March 7

Dig In + Celebrate

We’ll spend another day moving between plenary sessions and breakouts.

Then Monday night, we celebrate.

Dress up. Dress down. Wear whatever makes you feel good. Just bring your dancing shoes.

Our Retreat party is a chance to have some fun and enjoy the women you’ve spent the past few days getting to know.

Monday, March 8

A group of women participating in a hands-on activity at a conference or workshop, sitting around a table with various items including papers, drinks, and a smartphone. Some women are actively engaged, holding and working on objects together, while others observe or assist. There is a large screen in the background displaying the words "Raise Your Marshmallow!"
Pink background with irregular darker pink spots resembling a giraffe pattern.

Slow Down + Wrap Up

Tuesday morning is intentionally a little slower.

Enjoy breakfast on your own, sleep in a little longer, take a walk, or have coffee with someone you haven’t had enough time with yet.

We’ll come back together from 9:00–11:30 AM for our final sessions and Retreat wrap-up before everyone heads home.

You’ll leave with new ideas, new relationships, and hopefully a clearer vision around what you want to take with you into the year ahead.

Tuesday, March 9

Here’s why flying solo is actually a good thing…

You expand your comfort zone. It might feel scary at first, but you’ll be surprised by how easy and natural it is to connect with women who get your world.

You make connections you'd never make otherwise. When you come alone, you naturally branch out and meet more people.

You focus entirely on YOUR growth. No compromise on which sessions to attend. No checking in to see what the group wants. Every choice is about what you need.

The thought of walking into a room full of women you don’t know might feel intimidating…until you realize everyone is in the same boat as you.

Most of our attendees arrive solo, but they don’t stay that way. By the end of Day 1, you’ll be exchanging phone numbers. By Day 3, you’ll be making plans for a reunion.

This is the community you’ve been craving.

Worried about attending alone?

What past attendees are saying

Orange graphic with a pink heart and white and pink handwritten text that reads, "I came here not knowing what to expect. I met women who have taken that next step where I want to go, and they’re showing me how they did it and leading the way. 2025 Retreat attendee."
Green background with black quote text saying, "This was an amazing group of women. I walked away with new friends, new skills for running my business and my life, and a new outlook on how to reach my goals." pink handwritten style text at the bottom reads, "2025 Retreat attendance" with a pink heart above the quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Taking 4 days for yourself isn't selfish. It's strategic.

You can't transform your life in the margins—rushing through another personal development book between patients and after the kids are asleep. This retreat gives you the space to reflect on what you truly want and create a plan to go after it.

Past attendees have gone on to start their own practices, make bold career pivots, and finally write the book they’d been talking about for years. Others learned to set better boundaries, delegate more, and prioritize their health.
